Does Jimmy Jones still live up by the church in Cranham? Always remember seeing his motor about in Upminster, I wonder if he still has the private plate 'U ME 1M'?

A name I remember well, though at the same time can't really remember him. Was shocked to see he was fairly young, as hadn't seen him for years.

Also surprised to just google Jimmy Jones and see he's still alive!!

Re: Joe Longthorne RIP
I’m sure he was John h straceys “friend”. We went to see an evening with John h Stracey thinking it would be him him talking about his boxing career, he then spent the next hour being a song and dance man. Joe long thorpe was with him

Why do gay men keep saying 'Their husbands?'

They are not husbands. They are their gay partner.
It makes me laugh. LBGT supposedly hate the church and argue against the bible condemning quotes on homosexuality. On the other hand, they then want the church to accept them in holy matrimony of marriage. Make your minds up.

From what I remember, a bit like wee willy harris in the 80s he'd appear on Saturday night staples like des O'connor and little and large, possibly had his own show at some point. Used to irritate me as a kid.

RIP

Re: Joe Longthorne RIP
Apologies, Leroys. I honestly have little idea who Joe Longthorne was or did, really. I vaguely remember the name. But I can't even recall why. Maybe I was too young? Or had more sophisticated taste?

Sorry for your loss.
